Commitment Ceremonies

For couples who wish to confirm their love for each other without the legalities, Susie performs commitment ceremonies.

Although these ceremonies are not considered to be legal weddings in Australia, they are conducted in a similar style to a marriage ceremony, sharing an exchange of vows, expressing love and a commitment to one another in front of family and friends.

As with civil wedding services these commitment ceremonies can be individually tailored to suit your particular style.

Naming Ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular amongst parents to officially welcome their child and bring together all of the important family and friends who will have a part in their life.

Susie loves Naming Ceremonies as they are extremely special and very personal.

There are no ‘rules’ to a naming ceremony, so each is completely unique and tailored.
Naming ceremonies are not necessarily just for the arrival of a new baby, they can also be held to welcome adopted children into the family, or even for an adult who has chosen to change their name.

Wedding days are magical – its’ such a shame to only do it once.

Renewal of vows ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular for couples and are often done on major milestones such as every 10 years of marriage or on your 25th wedding anniversary.

Whatever your time frame or reason, a renewal of vows can be just as special as the original wedding day and as it is not an official ceremony and service you have a wide scope to make it as intimate or extravagant as you like with endless options of how it can be conducted.

You may choose to walk down the aisle together this time, you may exchange new rings or re-exchange your original ones, you may like to include your children or grandchildren in the ceremony, or perhaps you may like to recreate your first wedding exactly how it was. Your Ceremony, Your Way!

When a loved one passes, it can be both a sad and stressful occasion.

Funerals are also a chance to celebrate the life of the person passing and can be extremely special.

Susie will work closely with you, the family and friends to deliver a personalised, compassionate and sincere service that will reflect your wishes on how your loved one is to be remembered.

Funeral services can be tailored to meet your requirements to honour those who have passed.

Susie undertook her Funeral training after doing her mothers eulogy and has since officiated at her younger brother and father’s funerals, so she understands about making the service a personal and heartfelt one.
